We are delighted to reveal to you Valoris successful stories’! Today we’d like to introduce you to one of our superheroes, Alexandra – Team Leader. Discover her journey and get inspired!

  1. What do you think we should know about you? Could tell us more about yourself?

I think one of the most important things that people need to know about a person is whether they can rely on them, whether they are trustworthy, and this is how I am. I like to learn new things, to meet people and I strongly believe that each person has something to offer emotionally, and I try to offer to others and charge myself with the positive energy of those around me.

  1. Where did you graduate from and what are your plans?

I graduated from the Faculty of General Economics at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. Regarding the future, I take things step by step and I always think about my evolution both personally and professionally. I really like the field I work in now and I want to grow professionally as much as possible in the near future.

  1. What was your childhood dream?

My dream since I was a child was to be a leader, a person that the whole team should trust. This is earned, not imposed, and I am constantly working to become my own idol.

  1. Do you have any hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to do sports, I have been a basketball referee for almost 6 years. I like to spend time with my friends and read.

  1. Do you have a motto? If so, which one?

I am guided by the motto “Be the person your younger version needed at some point”.

  1. When did you join the Valoris team?

I joined the Valoris team in November 2019.

  1. How was your experience while working for Valoris so far?

I have to admit, the Valoris experience has been and continues to be a challenge for me, but I like it. I feel my evolution from one week to another and not only at a professional level. Our project manager has a great contribution in my constant growth and represents for me an example of a passionate and involved professional and friend, outside of work. Our project manager is always ready and willing to offer his help both professionally and personally.

  1. What do you love most about us?

What I like most is the trust that Valoris offers to young people, the opportunities to have responsibility, to coordinate a team, to be the basis of the pyramid of this great project.

  1. Finally, what message do you have for your colleagues?

It is a piece of advice that I would have liked to hear when I entered the field and that I often say to myself: comfort is good, but being outside the comfort zone means evolution, and patiently anything can be achieved. You just have to trust yourself.
