We are delighted to reveal to you Valoris successful stories’! Today we’d like to introduce you to one of our superheroes, Sibel – Sales & Marketing Specialist. Discover her journey and get inspired!
- What do you think we should know about you? Could tell us more about yourself?
The first thing I can say about myself is that I am an optimistic person, who prefers to see the good side of things. I also like to make many “To Do” lists for just about anything.
- Where did you graduate from and what are your plans?
Currently, I am a final year student in the Master’s program in Marketing Management, within the Faculty of Marketing. After completing this stage, I plan to take a few more courses to help me develop later in this beautiful field.
- What was your childhood dream?
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a princess and helping the world become a better place. I was a little fan of Barbie cartoons.
- Do you have any hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?
I really enjoy reading, especially personal development books. My favorite is “How to Have a Good Day” by Caroline Webb. I also find fascinating those biographical books, which describe the lives of Muslim women.
- Do you have a motto? If so, which one?
Yes, I know you’ve probably heard it everywhere, but it’s a motto I strongly believe in: “There’s no I can’t, there’s just I don’t want to.” I believe that for the things we like, dream about and want to achieve, there is always a strong motivation.
- When did you join the Valoris team?
I joined the Valoris team in May 2019.
- How was your experience while working for Valoris so far?
I can say that it was and is an important experience in my life because it is my first job in the field of Marketing. I started from scratch, I learned a lot and I realized that the imagination has no limit and should not have limits. Slowly, I begin to improve my teamwork skills and emotional intelligence.
- What do you love most about us?
I appreciated and will always appreciate the open attitude of my colleagues, from whom I learned that anything is possible. They have helped me all the time, since I came in the company until now and they have shown me that together we can find a solution for anything.
- Finally, what message do you have for your colleagues?
I would advise them to be open to asking for help when they need it and to constantly remember what their motivation is.
