We have documented this article so you can learn about the recruitment process stages and what to anticipate if you have already applied for a position at our company or are considering doing so.
Additionally, we provide a few recommendations that will come in handy for you when applying for jobs. The first and most crucial factor is to be positive and honest.
The steps in the recruitment process at Valoris Center are as follows:
-
You apply for a job
You consider applying after finding a job posting online or on a recruitment site. Nothing easier! But be sure to read the description thoroughly before you submit your application. Check your qualifications for the position and decide if you want to join our team. Visit this link to learn more about life at Valoris.
Advice: Make sure the material on your resume is accurate and up to date. Read our article, “5 tips for how to make your resume stand out”, to learn more.
Your CV goes through a selection process once it reaches the recruitment department. Only if your CV meets the job requirements will our colleagues contact you.
-
The pre-interview
Following the selection of your CV, you will be contacted by one of our colleagues from the recruitment team for a pre-interview. You will learn more about the company, the project, and the position you have applied for during this conversation. Additionally, you will talk about the program, compensation plan, and job specifics.
Here you can be presented with detailed aspects of the program (if you have night shifts or if you will work on weekends). You may also be asked about your experience in the field, and if the position requires knowledge of a foreign language, you may be asked how well you can communicate in that language.
In this stage, you will discover if you go further in the recruitment process.
Advice: Before you agree to moving on to the new stage, don’t hesitate to clarify any questions you may have.
-
The testing process.
Congratulations! You have advanced to a new stage. The process’s most challenging phase starts at this point. Any job you apply for will require testing to determine your suitability for specific skills.
Although the testing procedure varies depending on the position, we can provide you with a few examples of tests you can receive:
For customer service jobs: grammar test, language test, role-play, and a discussion to validate foreign language knowledge (spelling & speaking).
For customer service jobs that require technical support, you can receive technical tests, and role-plays focused on the technical side.
For jobs in the support departments (CRM, Marketing, Recruitment), you can also get case studies to solve.
You may also take tests in logic, personality, IQ, or emotional intelligence (EQ), depending on the position’s requirements.
Advice: You don’t have to fear this part of the recruitment process. It is just a stage to check your knowledge and skills. Prepare yourself and avoid rushing; think about the answers and trust yourself!
-
The interview with an HR representative
Once more, congratulations! You have reached the part requiring more in-depth knowledge because you passed the examinations. Depending on the position’s requirements, this may be a physical interview at the corporate office or an online interview on a communication platform. This interview is typically recorded with your permission.
During the interview with the HR representative, you will be presented with more detailed information about the company, industries, projects, and your job. Instead, it is a casual discussion in which you will talk about the recruitment stages completed so far and the ones that follow.
At the same time, our colleagues will remind you of information about the activity, program, and salary package to ensure that you move on.
Advice: Be relaxed and maintain a positive attitude! To help you do even better during the interview, read our article on “Top 7 BPO interview questions and how to answer.”
-
The Operational interview or with the Department Manager
Depending on the position you applied for, you will speak with the department manager or the project coordinator after the recruitment department has validated your profile.
This is a get-to-know-you meeting so that the manager can determine whether you fit in with the team and are ready for the activity that will come next. You will receive much more specific information on your responsibilities, the structure of the team, and how things are carried out here.
Advice: Be as natural as you can and open to dialogue. Don’t be afraid to ask questions because this is the time when you will determine whether you fit into the team and if your principles coincide with the organization’s values. 😊
-
The references
Recommendations from previous employers are very significant to your new employer because they attest to the skills listed on your CV. Usually, it is asked that the resources in the CV be checked to ensure that the data is accurate. Naturally, we will only conduct this check with your permission.
Advice: You don’t need to be afraid. At this stage, a colleague from the recruitment department will write a request to your former company asking them to confirm specific details, including if you worked there and for how long. That is precisely why starting on the right foot is crucial when creating your CV.

Job offer
You’ve reached the last stage of the hiring process! The activity, the program, how the training will be conducted, the equipment, payment during the training time, the structure of the remuneration package, and when and how you receive financial benefits are other topics discussed throughout this stage.
You will also receive information on the company’s bonuses, benefits, contests, prizes, and employment-related documentation.
Advice: To prevent additional confusion, ensure you have comprehended everything and clarify any points you have yet to make thus far.

Following this phase, you will begin the activity’s training and sign the contract. The story goes on, and we’ll return with an article explaining what happens following employment.
